Active Media’s SaberTooth S4 SSD Series

Active Media have recently unveiled a new line of upgrade SSDs, this new series is called the SaberTooth S4 series, and are said to be compatible with Eee PC models S101, 900, 900A, 901, and 1000.
The new SSD line are available in capacities of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, they are mini PCIe cards which use the SATA-II interface, the drives offer a sequential read speed of up 130MB/sec and a sequential write speed of up to 50MB/sec.
According to SlashGear’s article the drives will work with Windows XP/Vista/7, Linux and “Mac OS 10.x and up”. The main features worth mentioning include the drives wear leveling algorithm, ECC error correction and bad bit management.
