Palm Pre Price Keeps Falling: Now $99 on Bell
By: Peter Chubb | November 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe did not think that Bell would get involved in all the early Black Friday deals, but looking at the price reduction of the Palm Pre, you would be mistaken in thinking so. A number of weeks ago the Pre was reduced to CAD $149.95 by Bell, but the price keeps falling and is now reduced too CAD $99.95.
There is always a catch with a deal like this; you have to sign up to a 3-year contract to get the Palm Pre for that price. Not certain if I could ever sign to a 3-year contract, but if that is the phone that you want, then who are we to say any different.
We first learned of this latest deal from Engadget but thought we would see if Bell allows you to shorten the term of the contact and what the price of the Pre smartphone would be. Not good news, 3-years is the only contract term that they offer.
If you still want the Palm Pre then just remember that you are getting a great phone, not the iPhone killer than it was rumored to be, but still a great phone. Also remember that the Pre comes with the superb webOS. Visit Bell for further details
