Droid Phone Reviews: Positive Signs for Verizon

When searching around for Motorola Droid Reviews there seems to be one thing in common, many agree that it is the best handset on Verizon Wireless, as well as the best Google Android handset. There are not many Android smartphones to compare it too, but the Droid certainly has something good to offer.

LA Times have been looking at what other Android cell phones the Droid has to compete with; firstly we have the aging T-Mobile G1, the MyTouch 3G and HTC’s Droid Eris. The Eris was launched on the same day as the Droid, but came with the older Android 1.5 OS.

As for being the best phone on Verizon, the Droid never really had much competition in that area. You would have thought that Verizon being the largest carrier in the U.S. would have had a selection of decent handsets, but this was not the case until November 7.

The hardware in the Droid has much more to offer that the iPhone, which is its intended target. We know that the Droid will not compete with the iPhone, but this is the start of the Motorola comeback, so watch this space.
