It has been reported that Media Molecule - developers for the popular PS3/PSP title LittleBigPlanet, have stated that they have no plans to release a sequel for the game.
As reported from VG247, Danny Leaver, one of the Lead Designers for the game, was speaking to Critical Gamer when he revealed the news.
He stated that the team were still busy with LittleBigPlanet, and that gamers should expect a lot more content, particularly next year.
He also revealed that they were working with some ‘really strong brands’ and that fans have a lot of good stuff to look forward to.
Oh well, it’s good and bad news I guess. Let us know your thoughts on his comments.

LBP - IS A LIVING GROWING SORT OF GAME. IT DOESNT NEED A SEQUEL.
ITS EPIC IN ITS OWN RIGHT - WE LOVE LBP
Nice misquoting and twisting of words there.
He said they currently weren’t working a on sequel, because they were working on loads of new content for the original.
Still it’s a PS3 story right, and it wouldn’t be the same without finding some pathetic twist to put a negative on it right?
Well said Mark, what a non story with an anti ps3 spin.
But lbp needs a sequal because who wants to get a ton of Downloadable content for new stuff
