HTC Hero: Spotify handset on 3 released
By: Alan Ng | November 6, 2009
You may remember a few weeks ago when we informed you that UK network 3 were planning to release a special version of the HTC Hero, complete with an integrated Spotify app.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, we can now confirm that the handset is now available to buy, giving music lovers who are searching for a new phone, the perfect scenario.
The HTC Hero from 3 is now available both in-store and online and for £35 a month on a 2-year contract, will give customers a 24-month subscription to Spotify Premium, complete with 750 minutes and unlimited texts and internet data.
However, customers will need to pay £100 on top to take home the HTC Hero for free. It will be interesting to see how this takes off.
Im a frequent user of Spotify myself, so I would be hoping that this deal gets extended onto other handsets. Let us know what you think of the deal. Are you interested?
