HTC Droid Eris: More Unboxing goodness

Just in case you needed any ‘further’ reasons to pick up a HTC Droid Eris on Verizon today, we have yet more unboxing photos to show you now, as well as a few reasons why the Droid Eris differs from the HTC Sprint Hero.

This time the unboxing comes from BGR who have spent some of their own quality time with the phone. They have stated that the Droid Eris is ‘thinner, lighter, and a lot more pocketable’ than the Sprint Hero.

Other than that, you’ll be hard to find any other differences between the two phones, except that the Droid Eris has the addition of a proximity sensor, which the Sprint Hero doesn’t.

Check out the photos over at BGR and let us know if you’ll be picking one up today.
