We were teased recently over the launch of the new Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter, but no sooner had we seen it on store websites, it was gone again. Thankfully the 802.11n-compliant Adapter is now back and is set to begin shipping on November 10.
According to Engadget, the latest Xbox peripheral is now showing up on Costco’s site and will cost you $88, much more reasonable than before. We only have five days to go until the release of the device, so this has to be the final price. We are certain that these next five days will move along quickly, so you can hook it up to your Xbox 360, just in time for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare2.
The new Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter now offers increased speed over the previous model, giving you a much faster connection to Xbox Live. The device will even allow for downloading or streaming HD movies along with TV shows.
The Wireless N Networking Adapter is compatible with A/B/G/N networks, and the newer sleeker design allows the device to fit more easily to the rear of your Xbox 360 console. Let us know what you think of the new design and its latest features.

How can this adapter give a faster connection to XBOX Live? Unless your home internet connection is 55Mbps or faster (mine’s 1.5Mbps), your XBOX Live speed will stay the same. Now, I will be purchasing this though. I wouldn’t if they had shipped the 360 with a gigabit lan port though. 300Mbps is better than 100!
