As taken from the official EU Playstation Blog, PlayTV will now let you watch, pause and record High Definition TV for DVB-T standard broadcast. This is especially handy for those of you living in countries that offer free HD channels.
Other updates include SD upscaling and support for the Sony Ericsson Aino mobile phone, which features PS3 remote play connectivity, you can read more on this here.
The PlayTV update will also require your PS3 to be updated to v3.0, just to let you know. More details over at the PS Blog.
