Mozilla Firefox update will differ from Google Chrome

It has been reported that Mozilla are planning a major update to their Firefox browser, in which they will focus specifically on the appearance and interface aspects of the browser.

As reported from Computer World, the updates will affect Windows Vista and Windows 7 and are expected to come in two parts – both of which will be available next year.

Ever since Mozilla released some preview screenshots of how the update will look, consumers have been comparing it to how Google’s Chrome browser currently looks, but Mozilla were keen to stress that the two will be significantly different.

We are not trying to make Firefox look like any other browser,” was their response to the criticism. What are your thoughts on this? Do you like the new look Firefox?

I hate it! Until there’s an option or an add-on to keep the classic (current) UI, I’m not upgrading past FF3.6

This is removing besic functioality to make it look a bit flashy.
What accesability options are there for those who cannot use the mouse well (or at all?)?
What of users that have a lot of bookmarks?
Will it still be easy to adjust Noscript for sites that the user doesn’t visit regularly? The same goes for adjusting Adblock Plus.
No stop button? What if a page gets ’stuck’?

I could go on. I am a massive fan of Firefox and recommend it to anyone that will listen, but, on this – Mozilla : FAIL
