In early October we posted an article which introduced you to LG’s first Android handset the LG GW620, we are now hearing that the handset has recently shown up on Roger’s website, however it now is being dubbed the LG Eve.

Currently the handset is listed as “Out of Stock” on their website, however we will probably see the handset available quite soon.

As mentioned above the handset runs Google’s Android OS, the handset has been designed around social networking services and also features some pretty impressive hardware, it features a 5 row QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera, a 3 inch resistive touchscreen display and Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS connectivity.

Currently if you agree a 3-year voice and data plan the handset will cost you just £49.99, find out more on SlashGear.

    I have owned this phone from Rogers for about a week now, and can share some of the pro’s and con’s;
    Pro’s – fast boot-up, excellent interfaces, great screen resolution, tons of apps, fast internet, wi-fi and bluetooth.
    Con’s – very sensitive home key (takes some getting used to) touch screen takes some practice to scroll instead of opening apps. – ear bud style headphones suck – but there are no other options.
    I am still learning new and wonderful things about this phone. Yes… I’m happy with it!

    In regards the headphones part you do have to give LG koodoos for using a 3.5mm jack for headphones. Unlike other phones out there that use mini usb connection which in my personal opinioin can or could break rather easily.
