LG Chocolate Touch VX8575: Now Available

By: Jamie Pert | November 5, 2009 | 9 Comments

Towards the end of October we posted an article which seemed to suggest that Verizon will soon be offering a new LG handset, this handset is now officially available.

The handset is called the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575, this is the first “Chocolate” handset which features a touchscreen display, as with other Chocolate handset it is a music-centric handset.

The handset offers quick and easy connection to your favorite social networking services (Facebook, MySpace and Twitter), and also features a full HTML web browser.

From what we can see the handset features a 3 inch display which supports a resolution of 240×400, it also features a 3.2 megapixel camera, 1GB of internal storage, a microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth.

Although this handset is not as high-end as some recent releases it should attract some interest because of its small design and cheap pricing, the handset will cost you $79.99 as part of a two-year agreement, this price takes into account a $50 mail-in rebate, check out Cnet for more information.

Wondered in for my upgrade looking for a touchscreen/camera/music/phone, this was being released that day. So far it is great. I wish the headphones had come with it, and being new to this product I am trying to learn the song upload proceedure. But it is really easy otherwise.
