Right Bite, Inc has now launched Right Bite 1.0, which is said to be a revolutionary behavior modification & weight loss tool for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The app has been designed to work with the unique features of both devices, the app works very different to other weight loss programs.
Right Bite 1.0 uses proven scientific research in order to help user’s lose weight, this is done by controlling the pace of your eating rather than how you would normally eat. Most us would not know that the pace that we eat can control our weight.
Scientific study shows that by eating slowly will produce less consumption and there will be no loss of satiated. If you focus on chewing your food more, then more caloric energy is used up, much the same as if the food had been pulverized.
The app will cue users a perfect speed to chew their food, Right Bite claims that some users could lose up to 30+ pounds in less than 6 months than they normally would when eating at their normal pace.

Paul McKenna has based a whole career on this - or his recent one at least. Eating slowly does work because your brain receives the full message from the stomach before you’ve finished eating. Chewing also tricks the brain into thinking you’re full. The downside is it makes eating boring and that bucket of KFC deserves to be punished quickly.
