Nokia X3: Cleared by the FCC
By: Jamie Pert | November 4, 2009
Back in early September we had a chance to see a video which featured the upcoming Nokia X3, we also had a chance to see some of the handsets specifications here.
We are now hearing confirmation stating that the Nokia X3 has been cleared by the FCC, therefore we should expect to see the handset available from a range of carriers sometime soon.
The handset specifications are pretty average, the handset has been deigned as a music-centric device, it features a 2.2inch QVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headset jack, and runs Symbian S40. It also features a microSD memory card slot and a FM radio which does not require a headset to be plugged in.
The handset looks pretty similar to the Nokia 6500 Slide handset, which in my opinion isn’t a bad thing. As we find out more regarding the release date, carrier information and pricing we will keep you posted check out IntoMobile for more.
