A recent article on AppleInsider has looked into the impact that Apple’s iPhone will have on the Chinese cellphone market during 2010.
Initial figures were pretty disappointing as only 5,000 iPhone customers signed up at launch, however analysts predict a very strong 2010 for the iPhone, not only in China but globally too.
A Wall Street analyst has predicted that Apple will sell 36 million iPhone’s globally in 2010, 1-2 million of these are said to sell in China.
The reason for such a huge amount of sales no doubt has something to do with the fact that a number of new carriers that are now offering the handset, the reason for such a slow start in China however is said to be a combination of overpricing and availability.
