Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Android: Hands-on Video
Filed under: Handsets, Video News

When it comes to new cell phones, if you want to stay ahead or just keep up with the market then you are going to need a Google Android handset. Sony Ericsson are a bit late to the Droid party but have finally launched their first Android handset, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.
There have been so many rumors about the XPERIA X10 and many of them looks to be true, such as the 1GHz Snapdragon chip, 4-inch wide capacitive touch display and that very impressive 8.1 megapixel camera complete with LED flash. We almost forget to tell you about Rachael, which is an Android skin.
Engadget has been spending some time with the new handset; they offer a hands-on review and video as well as a whole bunch of images. When looking at those images you will notice the curves and slopes that make this device appealing to the eye. Sony Ericsson has copied the Apple iPhone in the way that the XPERIA X10 lacks a physical keyboard.
Engadget tried out the two apps that were available to them, Google Maps as well as the WebKit-based default Android browser. Both apps showed us what the X10 will be able to do, but there is much more to come from the handset.
