As reported from Pocket-Lint, the news was revealed by Steve Walker, who is Sony Ericsson’s Head of Portfolio Planning. It has been confirmed that the X10 will ship with Android 1.6, but Walker also confirmed that the phone will be equipped with Android 2.0 ‘as soon as possible’.

Hopefully an Android upgrade will fix the following flaws, low colour depth, low video recording resolution (the camera is 8Mp but the phone only manages to record 640×480), lack of multi-touch support and no lack of support for 32Gb microSD cards.
