
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10: Android 2.0 update will follow
By: Alan Ng | November 3, 2009 | 5 CommentsFollowing on from the official unveiling of the Sony Xperia X10 handset, it has been revealed that the phone will be given an update to the new Android 2.0 platform, as soon as it becomes available.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the news was revealed by Steve Walker, who is Sony Ericsson’s Head of Portfolio Planning. It has been confirmed that the X10 will ship with Android 1.6, but Walker also confirmed that the phone will be equipped with Android 2.0 ‘as soon as possible’.
