In mid October we posted a slightly inaccurate article regarding the T-Mobile USA release of the Motorola CLIQ, we were under the impression that the handset had launched, however it turned out that the handset was only available for pre-order.
Today however pre-orders are no longer being taken as the handset is available direct from T-Mobile, the handsets specifications aren’t quite as impressive as the upcoming Motorola Droid, however they are still pretty good, you can see a review here.
Specifications worth mentioning include a 3.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a wide range of connectivity (including Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and 3G), one of the nicest touches with this handset is the use of MOTOBLUR which covers up the Android OS.
Currently the handset will cost you $199.99 after a mail-in rebate, the agreement will last two-years and must include a data plan, find out more on IntoMobile.

just purchased the cliq yesterday. very pleased with it. loves how it blends social netowrks together and syncs ALL your contacts from everywhere. i recommend it as an upgrade for G1 users
pros
-beautiful design
-nice keyboard
-ringer/vibrate switch
cons
-kinda slow processor
-no file manager
-push email and 3G drains battery
would you say the battery life is better than the G1’s or worse?
