
A-DATA’s New S596 SSD: Unveiled
By: Jamie Pert | November 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentA-DATA have recently unveiled their latest Sold State Drive, the drive is called the S596 SSD and A-DATA claim it is the industry’s fastest SSD.
The major benefits this drive is said to offer include a faster booting OS and faster access to applications, the drive itself is available in capacities of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Performance-wise the drive is said to offer a sequential write speed of 180MB/sec and a sequential read speed of 250MB/sec, the drive also features a DDR2 SDRAM cache which allows your computer to boot 40 percent quicker.
We are not currently sure how true A-DATA’s claims are, nor are we sure of details regarding pricing and a release date, as we find out more we will keep you updates, check out SlashGear for more.
