HTC Droid Eris: Specs and Pricing

Towards the end of last week we managed to reveal some details regarding the upcoming HTC Droid Eris handset, at the time of this post we were not 100 percent sure about the hardware specifications, however a recent article on Cnet seems to have uncovered some more information.

Earlier today we heard how the HTC Droid Eris is a shape-shifted Hero, here are some more detailed specifications for the handset, as mentioned earlier it will feature a 528MHz processor, a 3.2 inch touchscreen display (Sense UI) and will come with Android 1.5.

We also now know that the handset will feature a 5 megapixel camera, it will have WiFi connectivity and a 3.5mm headset jack, it also seems that the price from Verizon will be $99 (once a mail-in rebate is taken into consideration).
