A recent article on WirelessandMobileNews has questioned whether or not Verizon’s network will be able to cope with the huge impact the upcoming Motorola Droid will have.
AT&T have struggled to provide adequate coverage and service quality to all of their iPhone users, this has caused many users to move on to competing services.
Verizon’s network coverage is much greater than AT&T’s therefore Verizon believe they will keep their customers happy, their director of services released this statement “We’re anticipating the Droid will be a blockbuster, but we’re not adding any new backhaul or new EV-DO carriers for the launch. We’re not anticipating the network will take a hit on this.”
Do you think that Verizon will be able to cope with the large demands on their network?
