Apple TV 3.0 Main Interface: Hands-on with update
By: Alan Ng | November 2, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have a hands-on review for you to read now, on the recently released update for Apple TV. Version 3.0 gives you a selection of new features for you to play around with, most notably a big interface makeover for the main menu, as well as support for iTunes LP.
The review comes from MacVideo, who have given us their impressions following the update last week. Once you have updated to 3.0, you’ll see that the ‘two column grid’ has now been replaced by a brand new menu split up into seven categories (Movies, TV Shows, Music, Podcasts, Photos, Internet, and Settings) – which is much more ideal and stylish for those with big widescreen tvs.
If you are planning to pick up an Apple TV set in the future, or just havent updated your software yet, you should check out the full review over at MacVideo for full details.
