Apple iPhone: Blacksn0w Jailbreak unlock follows Blackra1n
By: Alan Ng | November 2, 2009 | 2 CommentsFor those of you who tried out Geohot’s recently released Blackra1n RC2 software, you’ll be aware that jailbreaking was unavailable to those who needed a baseband unlock.
Luckily, we are hearing reports that a new piece of software, dubbed Blacksn0w will be available on November 4th, and will allow all of you who require a baseband unlock on any iPhone 3.x firmware to operate on your chosen GSM carrier.
BGR reports that the software can be loaded straight onto your iPhone with Blackra1n already running, so all those interested should definitely mark November 4th down on your calendars.
There is a video over at BGR, showing the new software in action. Let us know if you have anything to add on this.
