During our recent outing to the EuroGamer Expo 2009 event we also had a chance to look at Dragon Age: Origins, to be honest this sort of game isn’t the sort of game you can really get a good impression of by playing it in a busy environment for 15 minutes.
What we did see of the game wasn’t too impressive, the graphics seemed below par and also the fighting seemed slow, to me the game looked very similar to Fable however the graphics weren’t as polished, all of this criticism is based on an extremely brief hands-on with the game.
Some things we did like included the extremely detailed character upgrade options, also the game was quite bloody with blood squirting over your character after after dishing out some damage with your weapon.
I do get the impression that if you was to sit and play this game for a few days it could become quite fulfilling, however not having the chance to do this didn’t allow us to see the games full potential, sadly there was no representative for the game, therefore we couldn’t get any exclusive information for the game.
Dragon Age: Origins should be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC from November 6th.

Commenting on the graphics without mentioning which system you played on isn’t terribly helpful. Console or PC?
A very good point, my apology it was on a PS3, bare in mind that we had that day seen 3D gaming and the extremely impressive God of War III!
