Droid vs iPhone, Palm Pre, and MyTouch 3G
By: Daniel Chubb | October 30, 2009 | 5 CommentsFollowing on from our post yesterday that specifically compared the Motorola Droid vs. iPhone 3GS, we wanted to give you another comparison that looks at the specs, and costs of the Palm Pre, MyTouch 3G, Droid, and iPhone.
Other than the Apple iPhone, Motorola’s Droid has become one of the most discussed new Smartphone’s, which has a release date of November 6 on Verizon Wireless. The phone is up for pre-order already, and if that interests you, head over to Best Buy.
So what do you do if you have the Apple iPhone in your pocket? Should you upgrade to the new Motorola Droid? This is what one article we found via Mashable hopes to find out.
Created by BillShrink, the detailed chart below this post takes a look at the features of each device, and also number of apps available, cost, and other specs. Those that do not like AT&T’s network will find comfort in knowing the Droid comes on Verizon’s network.
When you look at the cost over 24 months, you can see that the iPhone and Droid cost the same, while the MyTouch 3G and Palm Pre work out cheaper. Have a look at the chart below; visit GigaOm or BillShrink for more information.
