World of Warcraft: Dungeon system and Race Change detailed

By: Alan Ng | October 29, 2009 | 1 Comment

Blizzard have given us full details on what can be expected when the new dungeon system goes live, along with the new Race Change feature. The new dungeon system is said to be coming in a new patch, while the Race Change system is available to try out now.

As reported from Eurogamer, the fresh dungeon system will replace the old ‘Looking for Group’ feature and will include things like extra rewards for PUGs, instant teleports, and a worldwide group fill for those of you looking to fill servers from players around the world.

As for the new Race Change system, it will allow players to change their race, name and appearance for a one-off fee of £15/€20. Seems pretty dear, so make sure you are fully ready to change your details as you’ll have to pay each time you want to change.

More details can be found at the official page here. Let us know your thoughts on the changes.

Great point, excellent blog. Hey, did you all read about Blizzard intending to use Real ID on their forum? I guess they became aware that that’s no way to win at wow, since they reversed the decision. Now we can all resume playing World of Warcraft without stressing about compromised privacy. And they can go back to focusing on Diablo. WooT!!!
