By: Alan Ng | October 29, 2009 | 2 CommentsAs far as rumors go, this one is massive. One site has claimed to have been given detailed specs and info for the upcoming Nintendo Wii 2 console, which has been highly speculated recently.
According to MaxConsole, the biggest feature will be the inclusion of a Blu-ray drive for the Nintendo Wii 2, complete with 1080p support for games and other multimedia content.
The source also claims that the Wii 2 will be available worldwide at the same time, during the 3rd quarter of 2010. Interestingly, they also say that Nintendo will be offering a trade-in deal for users’ old Wii consoles, in order to tempt users into buying the Wii 2.
