Nintendo DSi LL: Specs, Price and Availability

Looks as if the rumors were spot on. Nintendo have just announced a new version of their DSi handheld console. Dubbed the ‘DSi LL’, it will come with a much larger screen and will be available next month in Japan, and in Q1 2010 in Europe.

As reported from VG247, the DSi LL will be upgraded with a 4.3-inch display screen, come equipped with two touch pens (one short, one long), three pre-installed WiiWare titles and will be available in a choice of three colors (Dark Brown, Wine Red and Natural White).

As for prices, it will be available in Japan for ¥20,000 (US$220), while we are also hearing that Europeans will have to pay ‘higher’ than the current price of the DSi, in order to pick one up.
