Netflix Streaming Confirmed for Nintendo Wii?

Earlier this week we heard how we will soon be able to use Netflix on Sony’s PlayStation 3, there was also some speculation as to whether the service would be coming to the Nintendo Wii, it seems as if this speculation has some truth to it.

According to a recent article posted on SlashGear it seems as if the service will be coming to the Wii, this has been ‘confirmed’ by Streamingmedia, Streamingmedia are said to have “received images from an unnamed source proving the service was coming to the Wii”.

No date has been mentioned yet, and to be honest I would not get to excited until I hear confirmation direct from Netflix or Nintendo, that said I do think it is pretty likely to go ahead.
