HTC Hero: Android 2.0 update coming soon

We have some great news for HTC Hero owners on Sprint, as HTC have revealed that the Hero will be receiving an update with all the features of the newly announced Android 2.0 platform.

As reported from BGR, the news was released via HTC’s very own Twitter page, although an exact date for the big update is yet to be known.

How does a lovely new Sense UI update sound to you, courtesy of the Android 2.0 Eclair update? The HTC Hero has followed the new Motorola Droid with Android 2.0, so it will be interesting to see which phone is next to receive an update.
