HTC Droid Eris: Verizon Pricing Details

This week seems to have been dominated by news regarding the Motorola Droid handset, however one handset that seems to have been overlooked is HTC’s Droid Eris.

The Droid Eris features some pretty impressive specifications, however some details are still unknown, the handset runs Google’s Android OS, it also features a 5 megapixel camera, and a display resolution of 320×480 pixels, other specifications include built-in WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD memory card slot.

The handset is expected to be released on Verizon on the same day as the Motorola Droid (November 6th), and rumors are circulating that Verizon will ask for just $99.99 for the handset, obviously this subsidized price will require a contract.
