Buffalo Announce new External Blu-ray Writer

Buffalo have recently unveiled a new Blu-ray writer, the writer is an external writer and is called the BR-PX68U2-BK, the drive will be available for purchase in Japan in November.

The drive burns a wide range of media, it burns Blu-ray media at up to 6x, DVD media at up to 8x and CD media at up to 24x, the drive requires a USB 2.0 port.

As mentioned previously the drive will launch in Japan in November, the retail price is said to be 31,000 Yen, which is roughly the equivalent of $340.
