
Apple TV 3.0 update: Support for iTunes LP and more
By: Alan Ng | October 29, 2009 | Leave a CommentFor those of you who are regular users of the Apple TV service, you’ll be interested to know that Apple are planning to update the service to version 3.0, adding new functionality and a few new features along the way.
As reported from Apple Insider, Apple have altered the terms and conditions for iTunes, which is clear indication that an update is on the way soon.
Two new features that have been confirmed is support for iTunes LP and iTunes Extras content. iTunes LP, which was announced at their recent media event, encourages users to purchase full albums, by offering bonus and extra content that you wouldn’t normally get when purchasing somewhere else.
