Xbox 360 Update: Adds support for Wireless Adapter

Just in case you thought that this update was for the highly awaited Twitter, Facebook and Last.FM features, think again. Microsoft have stated that the upcoming update will only add support for the new wireless adapter.

As reported from Kotaku, the update should be going live today in the next couple of hours. The update will be mandatory and you’ll be prompted to install next time you sign into your live account.

So for all of you who have been waiting for WPA2 support for your 360, the new Wireless Adapter will bring those changes into effect.
