We heard rumors a few weeks back that Verizon plan to launch three new Droid phones by the end of the year, the first we know as the Motorola Droid, but what of the other two. Well looking at the most recent rumors, the next Android powered phone to come onto the Verizon network will be from HTC, followed by another Motorola smartphone.
According to Brighthand.com, the HTC smartphone coming to Verizon will be a lot like HTC Hero. This means that the handset will come with a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and much more. We did notice that the handset does not have a physical keyboard, this could put consumers off.
Engadget has been on the hunt to learn more about the second Motorola Android phone heading to Verizon. It seems that the handset will have BLUR capability, this is the same system used to power the Motorola CLIQ, ideal for those who use social network sites.
The Motorola Droid has now been delayed and will not hit stores until November; the handset has been hyped up so much, just hope that it can live up to expectations.
