Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris: Release date on Verizon confirmed

Following on from our report yesterday that the Motorola Droid had been held back until a release on November 6th at the earliest, we can now confirm that this date is solid, and the Droid will also be releasing alongside the HTC Droid Eris on Verizon too.

Thats according to BGR, who have obtained their info from one of their trusty sources. They have also pointed out that this is the closest thing you will get to an official announcement from Verizon, so its good news for all those that were not sure about the November 6th date.

Will you be picking up either of these phones? It’s fair to say that the Droid will be on a lot of your lists this holiday season, but what about the HTC Droid Eris?
