PureSilicon Renegade R2 SSD: Now Available in 256GB
By: Jamie Pert | October 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentPureSilicon have recently upgraded their Renegade R2 SSD series, not a huge amount has changed, however there is now a 256GB version which will soon be available.
The 256GB version supports 255MB/sec sequential read rates and 180MB/sec sequential write rates, the drive is also designed to withstand high temperatures, shocks and vibrations.
The drive should be available sometime within Q1 2010, there are currently other capacities of the Renegade R2 SSD series available, these capacities include GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
