iPhone OS 3.1.2 Jailbreak: Blackra1n RC 2 released

Good news for all you jailbreak enthusiasts out there, as community favorite GeoHot has just released an update to the popular iPhone jailbreak software blackra1n.

As reported from BGR, the update has been labelled the ‘RC 2′ and adds various improvements and additions to the Blackra1n version of iPhone OS 3.1.2.

These include a fix for 3G signal issues, a fix for issues with package software”Icy“ and perhaps the most significant - support for tethered jailbreak for 3.1 OOTB iPod touch 8GB and new 3GS’ devices.

The official notes also state that the software is now available for both Windows and Mac. The update is available to try out here, let us know how you get on with it.
