ASUS have recently unveiled their first ever supercomputer, the general appearance of the computer is pretty standard, however one you take a look inside you will see that there is some high-end hardware within.

The computer consists of a Intel LGA1366 Xeon W3580 (3.33GHz) processor, along with three NVIDIA Tesla C1060 computing processors, also the computer features a Quadro FX5800 graphics card, the combination of all of the computing processors, processors and graphics cards is said to give the computer 960 graphics cores.

Other hardware worth mentioning includes 24GB of DDR3-1333MHz memory, a 500GB SATA-II hard drive and an 1,100W P.S.U.

As you can see this isn’t the sort of PC which is going to be available for home users, there is no official pricing, but according to SlashGear’s article the ECS 1000 “has a cost structure in software and hardware of US$14,519 over five years.”
