Apple: No new hardware on the way this year

Following on from our earlier report which informed you about the possibility of the release of two new Macbook Pro versions before the end of year, we have just learnt that Apple have ‘no plans’ to release any new hardware products before the end of 2009.
The news is according to this article from Apple Insider, who have obtained their info from a recent Gizmodo interview with Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.
Maybe the recent comments was to end speculation about the new Macbook Pro models who knows, but what we do know is that Apple have now stated that ‘their holiday lineup is now set’.
