By: Alan Ng | October 26, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that Nokia have filed a patent, which reveals that the company are looking into the possibilities of 3D multitouch technology. We have further details on this to show you, as well as a few screenshots of the patent in question.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, Nokia have applied for a patent for a 3D multitouch interface, that would allow the phone giant to record pressure, along with two dimensions of location info.
All sounds pretty exciting stuff, as users will be able to make use of a series of capacitive touchscreen sensors that will measure the strength of your pushes. Take a look at the images over at Pocket-Lint, then let us know what you make of Nokia’s idea.
