Halloween Costume Ideas for Guys: Functional iPhone 3GS

If you were to ever ask a bunch of guys what would be their idea of an ideal Halloween Costume, I bet it would not be a fully- functional iPhone 3GS. Well this is just what Reko Rivera and John Savio have done; these guys did a similar thing back in 2007, but not this good.

The costume that these guys are wearing is actually a 42-inch LCD TV’s which have a jailbroken Apple iPhone connected to it. Sadly the costume is just for display only, but they can control everything from their iPhone which is mounted on top of the costume next to their face.

If you were thinking of going for this costume, then Engadget reckons that it will cost about $2000 in total. One thing is certain, I will not be spending that amount of money on my Halloween Costumes, unless there was a $5000 prize for the best costume then I might be persuaded.

According to TUAW, these iPhone 3GS costumes weight about 85 pounds, this is because they have to cart a car battery with them to power the huge LCD screen. Watch the video below
