Facebook’s New Front Page: Are you impressed?

When we start to think about some of the decisions that huge companies make, it can often lead to a headache. Take the latest move by social networking giant Facebook and its decision to offer its users a new front page. This is just the latest in a long line of half-baked ideas, and sadly will not be its last.

PC World have been looking closely at the new Facebook front page, the news feed has been tweaked to become like a top stories section instead. Now I understand what my wife was moaning about the other day when she said her front page was not the same anymore.

I tried to change it back to normal for her, anything for some peace, but I could not do it. Thankfully PC World have come to my rescue by explaining that all you have to do to get it back to the old layout is click on “Live Feed.” I shall attempt to do this once my wife gets home, best not log in without her permission.

The problem that Facebook user has is that they did not even know the change was coming, they assumed that their profile had been hacked again. The new front page is not a popular one and users have been asking for the old one back.
