October has been a bad month for T-Mobile, and an equally bad month for T-Mobile Sidekick owners, however it seems as if the ongoing T-Mobile Sidekick saga is coming to an end.
These last few weeks have been covered in stories regarding T-Mobile’s Sidekick Outage, in which servers failed which resulted in users losing their data, originally it was thought that all data had been lost permanently, however now users have been told that most of the data is recoverable.
T-Mobile have now posted instructions as to how Sidekick users can recover their contacts, if this problem has affected you check out this linkto view the instructions, at the moment it is thought that only contacts are recoverable, however Microsoft/Danger have reported that they are working on recovering “pictures, calendar entries and to-do lists”.
For more information regarding the contact recovery check out IntoMobile, as we hear more information regarding the rest of the data we will keep you posted.
