A Detailed look into Apple’s New 13-inch MacBook

Earlier on today we reported that a new MacBook was available at the Apple Store, this new MacBook has a 13 inch display, you can see Apple’s official listing here.

As standard the 13 inch MacBook boasts a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, an 8x double-layer SuperDrive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, Built-in 7-hour battery and a polycarbonate unibody enclosure, this will set you back $999.00.

There are a few popular upgrades available to choose from, you can upgrade from 2GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM to 4GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, this upgrade will cost you an additional $100.00.

Another popular upgrade will be to upgrade the 250GB hard drive, all of the hard drives have a spindle speed of 5400rpm, you can upgrade to a 320GB hard drive for an additional $50.00, or upgrade to 500GB for an additional $150.00.

There are also a lot of other configuration options available too, these include an Apple LED Cinema Display, preinstallation of iWork ’09, preinstallation of Final Cut Express 4, preinstallation of Aperture 2, preinstallation of Logic Express 9, there are also a few other software options along with a wide range of video cables and various subscriptions.
