In what seems like a lifetime, the HTC Tilt2 is finally available on AT&T. The handset has had a number of names while we were waiting for it to launch, such as the Touch Pro2, Tilt II and Tilt 2. The handset will be $299.99 after rebates.
According to Phone Dog, the new HTC Tilt2 comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, which tilts upwards to reveal a QWERTY keyboard. Having the choice of touch-screen or a physical keyboard is something that has become popular with consumers. HTC must love the number 3.2, as that is the mega-pixel of the camera, which also offers 4x optical zoom.
This is the second handset from HTC to run on Windows 6.5, which is the latest mobile browser from Microsoft. Verizon call this handset the HTC Touch Pro 2 and has proved very popular, they have already sold out thanks to a low price of $199 after rebates.
The HTC Tilt2 on AT&T costs $299.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, customers hope that AT&T will offer the same $199 pricing as Verizon does very soon. For further details, visit AT&T
