Samsung Moment: Most exciting new handset announced at CTIA
Filed under: Cell Phones, Handsets

There were certainly a number of great cell phones announced at CTIA in Las Vegas just recently, but the most exiting handset had to be the Samsung Moment. There were a mix of handsets that stood out, most of which were either running on Google Android or the new Windows Mobile 6.5.
PC Adviser has been studying all the phones from CTIA this year, and out of the top ten handset, they announced the Moment as the most exciting, so why is this. The Samsung Moment is the second handset that the Korean company announced at CTIA 2009 running on Android, the first was the Samsung Behold II.
The new handset comes with that 3.2in AMOLED display, which we talked about in more detail in a recent post. We know that the colors are brighter and more vivid than a standard screen; the animations were also much smoother. This certainly looks like Samsung are on to a winner with its AMOLED display.
PC Adviser explains that the Samsung Moment does not have the fancy interface like the Motorola Cliq or HTC Hero but overall, the Moment is a much cooler handset.

Samsung Moment: Get yours from Sprint now

my name is Judy, and I plan to exchange my Hero for the Moment as soon as Best Buy gets it in (I have already talked to them about doing that) precisely because the Moment does have the landscape slider. Don’t you just love having choices? I want to stay with Sprint and Android, so I couldn’t be happier that Sprint is committed to providing choices for everyone.
