
Samsung Omnia II (aka i8180c): Release on China Mobile
By: Daniel Chubb | October 16, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to an article posted up on UnwiredView.com, it seems as if Samsung is planning to release a new version of the Samsung Omnia II i8000 which is customised for the China Mobile network.
The handset which is specifically customised for use in China and has specific china features such as WAPI, TD-SCDMA connectivity and China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting (CMMB).
The handset which is called the i8180 Chai doesn’t have a set release date as of yet, but one is expected to be announced in the not too distant future.
