Nokia N900: What Carrier Would You Prefer?

With the Nokia N900 release due soon many are regarding this as one of the most highly anticipated handset launches in the near future, however something that can make and break a handsets popularity is whether or not it is available on a customers preferred carrier.

From what we can see so far it looks like the handset will be available on T-Mobile USA, however many users could be put off by this and would much prefer it to be available to see the handset on Verizon Wireles or AT&T, despite T-Mobiles ever popular after sales support.

There has been no real talk regarding a UK carrier release nor has their been much talk regarding a Canadian release, also it is possible that the N900 will be available on other US carriers.

What US/UK/Canadian carrier would you like to see the handset released on?

    I was happy to hear it would be released for t-mobile. As a company they don’t get as much love as they deserve. I wouldn’t be getting the phone if I had to leave t-mobile.

    With regards to the UK networks, definitely T-Mobile and Vodafone, check out Mobilephonesdirect – they normally get the phones early enough. Pre-orders have been going since august on those two networks. (+ lots of blog posts, and questions, so quite alot of talk my end..)
    Have to admit the 1 N920 pic has been overshadowing the n900 in the last two days, but i’ll be happy enough with what looks like a decent phone, with computer/netbook functions and a good enough camera to survive (ignoring the pixon!)
    Mix the two together, add a 2 ghz processor and 2gb ram, (give it a year) and that will be a nice spec :) – allthough check youtube out for the N900 playing Quake 3! – quite impressive!

    Hi,

    I am so looking forward to the N900, having said that now people are talking about the N920, but I need something before that.

    I would like it to be on 3 Mobile in the UK, but they are telling me that it is not one of the phones they will have before Christmas!!! Vodafone would be a good second, but they are getting all excited about having the iPhone and do not look like they will be having the N900 either.

    There are some third party companies that are offering it this T mobile of Vodafone, but not as prober phone company deals. I can not find any that are offering it on 3.
