Motorola Sholes / Droid: Verizon World Edition handset?

We have some rather grainy, but live photos of the upcoming Motorola Sholes / Droid handset from Verizon for you to take a look at now. If you are not aware by now, the handset will be Verizon’s very first Android-powered handset and is expected to release on or around October 30th.

The pics come courtesy of BGR, who have teased their readers by asking them if the Sholes / Droid / Tao will also be a Verizon Wireless World Edition handset, meaning that network coverage will be more than reasonable all around the world.

BGR also reports that the ROM featured on the phone is moving at ‘break-neck’ speed, with new builds almost coming out by the day.
