You may remember earlier this year when Microsoft vowed that they would take the Apple/Microsoft battle to the streets by opening Microsoft retail stores wherever Apple has a store.
Well on an article posted up on TG Daily with information from The Journal, it seems that Microsoft is taking its first steps and is opening a store in Scottsdale, Arizona to coincide with the release of Windows 7. Also it seems they have another store planned in the Mission Viejo Mall (where Apple also has a store located). The journal is stating that if Microsoft is satisfied with the results it will begin to roll out more stores.
The Microsoft stores will include software, Windows mobile phones, laptops, Xbox 360 consoles, games and more. So readers, would you purposely go to a Microsoft retail store to get hold of your Microsoft and Microsoft related products? Or would you stick to the usual retailers and online stores?
